| To promote a consistent ethic, we unite the task of protecting life to that of promoting life. Specifically, we aim to: increase the parish and community awareness of Catholic teaching regarding the sanctity of life and social and economic justice, 2) take concrete action to protect the poor, weak, and vulnerable in society, and 3) reclaim and advance the primacy of prayer in our lives and in the cause for life. We meet on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Reconciliation Room. Contact: Tom Faranda 914-271-4598 This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Thanks to all who donated toward our two buses for the March for Life in Washington DC this year, 2009. The after-Mass collections and our November bake sale helped us completely pay for one bus! We had a total of just over 80 men, women and children who, thanks to your, were able to join us on a sunny winter day for this powerful witness to life's potential. The crowd in DC numbered approximately 150,000 from across the nation. You can view some pictures now at the Hudson Valley Coalition for Life's LifeNet website at www.hvcljournal.typepad.com . God bless you all for your generosity and prayers!
