Holy Name of Mary Montessori School’s goal is to strengthen the existing union with and love of God through the teaching of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd which implements the Montessori philosophy and methodology. Respect for a child's mind, individuality, and particular needs, is the driving concern in teaching our children. School is in session September-June, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM - 2:30 PM. |

We are accepting registrations for the 2009-2010 School Year.
The Montessori classroom is a prepared environment, presenting our young students with materials and exercises made for small fingers. We invite your child to investigate his or her environment and develop the skills needed to take control of their world. Our head teachers are certified Montessori professionals dedicated to serving our children.
Our “Atrium” is a special place where the children may nurture their relationship with God. Hands on materials allow the children to work and pray in their own spiritual environment.
Here are some of the things we do throughout the year:
We celebrate a “Liturgy of the Light” at Montessori School in May. The children process behind the Pascal candle and gather to sing and pray. They sing “This Little Light of Mine”. Each child has their own candle which is lit from the Pascal Candle.
